SK Brann have lost captain Martin Andresen and striker Robbie Winters to medium-term injuries as their UEFA Cup group stage campaign kicks off on Thursday.
Contracts expiring
The newly crowned Norwegian champions are celebrating their first league title in 44 years but have been left without two of their most important players as they prepare to take on Hamburger SV in Group D on Thursday. Midfielder Andresen is set to be out for six weeks with a knee injury while Winters will not play again this year because of a back problem. With both players' contracts set to expire this autumn, they may have played their last games for the Bergen side.
