Jonathan Zebina has ended his Juventus career by rescinding his contract with the club.
Tuttomercatoweb.com reports Zebina and his agent arrived at Juventus headquarters in Turin on Tuesday morning where he rescinded his contract with the Old Lady.
Brescia are now expected to hold talks with the player and offer him a new start there.
Zebina has also been linked with a number of French clubs, but reports around the peninsula claim the Rondinelle are in a strong position to land him.
The stopper joined Juventus in 2004 from Roma, but he has become peripheral to the club's needs.
Update 12:46
Juventus have now confirmed Zebina has left the club officially by mutual consent.
A brief statement on their official website reads:
"Juventus communicates that Jonathan Zebina has rescinded his contract." |
